Raspberry Pi 3 Model B PC Gamer Case
thingiverse
This is a project designed for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B to be used as a retro game console. Here's how you can do it. Printing and Post-Printing Step 1: Print all files with the settings shown in the images above. Important Note: Before painting, check the diameter of the neodymium magnets' hole. Step 2: The Painting Process Sand each part starting with a 120-grit sandpaper to remove all defects from the part. Then move on to an 180-grit sandpaper, followed by a 280-grit sandpaper and finally wet sanding with a 600-grit, 1000-grit and 2000-grit sandpaper. Once the sanding process is complete, use filler primer, apply one or two coats, then paint with acrylic paint, applying one or two coats. Installation of RetroPie/Recalbox to Your Raspberry Pi Step 1: Download Retropie/Recalbox from the following links: https://retropie.org.uk/download/ https://www.recalbox.com Step 2: Download Etcher from the following links: https://etcher.io Step 3: Install and open Etcher on your computer. Step 4: Insert your SD card into your computer. Step 5: In Etcher, click on "select image" and select your RetroPie image. Then click on "select drive" and choose your SD card. Finally, click on flash. Now everything is set up. Mounting Your Raspberry Pi and Fan 3010 to the Case Step 1: Drill each hole of the case with a 1/16 drill bit. Step 2: Insert your Raspberry Pi without the SD card into your case_L, press it until the USB ports fit inside and the holes match perfectly. Step 3: Mount the 3010 Fan onto the Case_R with the cable pointing downwards. If you want to reduce fan noise, remove the JST connector from the fan. This will give you two separate wires. The red (positive) wire goes to pin 1 (3.3V) on your Raspberry Pi and the black (negative) wire goes to ground (pin 6). Step 4: Mount the pushbutton switch onto the case_L, connecting the red wire to pin 5 (GPIO3) and the black wire to ground (pin 39). Step 5: Insert magnets into each hole, four for the stand and four for the case. Use super glue.
