This case is designed for use with the Raspberry Pi (2, 3). I created this case specifically for my Prusa 3D MK3 enclosure (Lack Hack) in order to place my Octoprint Raspberry Pi outside of the enclosure. It allows for several key features: • a Noctua 40x40x20 5V fan • access to the GPIO • access for the Raspberry Pi Cam cable slot Mounting requires the following hardware: • 4 M2 5mm screws and nuts (for the fan protective cover) • 4 M3 20mm screws and nuts (for the case) • 4 M4 screws (for the mounting plate) • 4 screws provided with the Noctua fan STL and STEP files are available for download. Printing tests were conducted on August 30, 2018. These tests included: • Fan Protective Cover with support V3: improved printing position and integrated supports • Top case v2: adjusted screw hole for printing results and screw length • Mounting Plate v2: adjusted screw hole for printing results On August 31, 2018, I redesigned the Fan Protective Cover to be printed without support. My "Thing" is now released. A new version of the fan cover was created on September 13, 2018, which does not require M2 nuts.
