Raspberry Pi 3 Case with Homematic RPI-RF-MOD
thingiverse
This is a straightforward print case designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 3B+ and the Homematic RPI-RF-MOD. It won't work with the Raspberry Pi 4; if you need a case for that model, click here to find one. To print this case, you'll need three M2.5x6mm screws. After printing is complete, remove any integrated supports from the HDMI and Micro-USB ports using a sharp knife. Next, insert your RPi and secure it with two screws at the bottom of the case. Then, install the RPI-RF-MOD and close the top part of the case. Insert the final M2.5x6mm screw into the square hole to keep everything in place. One small hole at the top of the case shows off the Status LED (the bigger one), while another hole is for pressing the reset button using a needle or a similar tool. To keep your Raspberry Pi at a safe distance from any surface, I highly recommend adding small rubber bumpers with diameters between 7-9mm to the bottom part of the case. Make sure these don't cover up any venting holes in the process. If you want to add some custom touches to this design, consider creating clickable inserts for the square hole. You can make your own "stickers" using the Nupsi.step as a starting point. Alternatively, use the Raspberry Pi image provided as an example. The parts you'll need to print are: * 1x Bottom.stl (or) * 1x Bottom_mounting-holes.stl * 1x Top.stl (or) * 1x Top_vent.stl You can also add optional custom logos or designs using the Nupsi.step as a mounting base. Some updates to this design include: * A bottom part for wall mounting, secured with two 3.5-4mm screws. * An optional top with venting holes added on March 11th, 2020. * Slight adjustments were made on March 14th, 2020, to make RPi installation easier.
