Raspberry Pi 3 Case

Raspberry Pi 3 Case

myminifactory

I designed this case specifically for a Raspberry Pi 3, leaving plenty of room for airflow while still providing some protection. All ports are fully accessible in this model. The case is held together by 4 M2x8 screws, which fit snugly into the inner support posts that have holes drilled to accept them. When you first turn the screws in, they create threads in the slightly undersized holes - a clever design feature. I printed this case out of PLA plastic, so the resulting threads aren't super strong, but they're still plenty sufficient to keep the top securely in place. The model shown in the images was printed with .15mm layers and a bit of support material added to the openings, but depending on your printer's capabilities, you might be able to get away with bridging these gaps entirely.
