Raspberry Pi 3 Case Bracket for Prusa i3 or others.

thingiverse

This easy-to-print bracket mounts a nice Raspberry Pi case to the Prusa i3 MK3 printer's existing holes without any cutting or drilling, and without making a permanent change to either one. It leaves all Pi ports open. This bracket requires only longer z-axis top mount screws and two longer case corner screws to provide a surprisingly solid support. Of course, this case can also be mounted anywhere using this bracket. The case can be found here and other places: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BTHNW9W/ref=od_aui_detailpages01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Hardware: Two M3 x 18mm or longer screws and nuts for the Z-axis top mount. These can be salvaged from the case. Two M3 x 34mm or longer screws for the case. The single bottom bracket screw can be salvaged from the old Z-axis mount screws. Directions: One at a time, replace the two top Z-axis screws with 18mm or longer screws and tighten them. They will stick out the back of the upright plate. Slide the case bracket onto the new screws sticking out of the back of the upright, loosely put the nuts on. Put one of the old Z-axis screws in the lower bracket hole. Tighten the top nuts and the bottom screw. Remember to hold a wrench on the head of the new Z-axis screws when tightening the bracket down, or you risk unscrewing them on the other side! Remove the two corner screws on the I/O (ribbon cable) edge of the case. Fit the case (with the SD card up) into the bracket and secure with the 34mm or longer screws. Connect your Raspberry Pi. Please post your makes! Thank you.
