This project aims to create a reusable controller for RC chassis that I build. The goal is to design an assembly that can be easily removed and repositioned on another vehicle, simplifying the attachment of electronics and allowing for a universal controller app to be used on the Pi. Two sections of this assembly are magnetic, enabling signal and power to pass through connectors. A separate power source will be provided for both the Raspberry Pi and the motors. The battery sled is designed to slide out, facilitating easy battery changes. Future Items: I am currently working on a 12v battery slider that will power the motors. Additionally, I have developed a module to hold motor controllers and servo controllers. While these components are not yet in a publishable state, I anticipate that the next iteration will prove workable. Several parts are being utilized; I will post them if anyone is interested in building this project. Updates: Battery box - The modifications made to reach version 3 were minimal. Raspberry Pi Case: Version 2 is included for reference purposes, but it will not function with the overall system. Versions 3 and 4 differ only in case height, with Version 4 being more compact.
