Raspberry Pi 3 Backplate for Ender 3
thingiverse
I designed a custom mount for my RPi3 on my printer to showcase its internal components. The idea was to let the circuit board's details shine through without hiding it behind a fully printed enclosure. I opted to buy an acrylic case from Amazon (https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B06VWD8M6X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and print only the final layer with support for my Ender 3. This setup allows me to attach a fan directly to the Pi using the case's built-in mounting system, keeping it securely fastened to the printer. The model includes two main openings - one for the SD card slot and another for the heatsink provided with the case - along with numerous smaller holes for improved airflow underneath the Raspberry board and reduced PLA usage.
