Raspberry Pi 3 B+ Retro ZX Spectrum+ Case

Here is my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ case designed after the iconic Sinclair ZX Spectrum+ Deciding to maintain the aspect ratio of the Spectrum+, I made the case slightly wider than the Pi itself. The Pi is securely fastened to the base with four M2.5 screws. The top clips onto the base with a robustness that echoes the legendary build quality of the Spectrum+. This should enable the Pi to run cool, thanks to the slatted base on two sides, and there's ample room for fitting a heatsink directly onto the processor. I created two versions of the top, one designed to print flat and another at 45 degrees with integrated supports. The thin 0.4mm-wide spar attaching the supports allows them to be easily snapped off and tidied up with a craft knife within about a minute or so. I believe the 45-degree print produces a much nicer finish due to the way layer lines sit, although it does require bridging of around 20mm to form the clip sockets in the top. The photos show the case printed using Paramount Matte Black PLA with a 0.1mm layer height.
