Raspberry PI 3 B+ Case
thingiverse
I wanted to design a case for my Raspberry PI 3 that meets my needs, and can be easily modified in the future. BOM: - 8 x 3mm hex screws (length: 8mm) - 8 x 3mm nut inserts M3x5x5mm (available at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32818101417.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.2b254c4d5iyV0e) 08/24/2019: The version currently uploaded is for a VESA75 mount with active cooling, featuring a 30mm fan that runs at 5v to be extremely quiet. I've been using this case for 8 months now, and I'm pleased to report that my Raspberry has not experienced any overheating issues (it's run 24/7 during this time). 09/01/2019: I added the VESA75 passive cooling case. I also updated the BOM. 05/24/2020: I added support for VESA100, as well as small fixes for both VESA versions. Problem solved: Not enough room above the SD card slot - increased the room above the SD card slot. - The VESA top is now compatible with new versions of the VESA bottom (V1.1) New Versions: - VESA75 bottom: v1.1 - VESA100 bottom: v1.1 You can print this case in any material you prefer! Any constructive feedback is always welcome!
