Raspberry Pi 3 B Case "Spidola grid"
thingiverse
This is basically a top cover remix for the wonderful creation of jayftee. I've reviewed all the Thingiverse in search for general purpose case suitable for Raspberry Pi 3B. I've found a LOT of specialized cases (printer-integratable, stylized, sleeved, venilation-prepared and so on). And almost no luck with usual, plain and boring cases... So eventually I've found this one. This is an excellent case, but vented variations of the top part of were either with a big holes (so you could eventually drop something in it effectivelly nullifying case's purpose) or with a non-so-excellent-looking holes. I've designed and tried a number of variations (small hexes, grids, raspberry's logo with tiny grid in its' holes etc). All of those variations were funny-looking but my printer gave up every single time I've tried to print them out. And then I've remembered wonderful radio receiver called "Spidola" straight out of my childhood. This radio is quite a retro at the moment. And it has the protective grid which is aesthetically pleasing, narrow AND possible to print without a LOT of tuning. So here it is - "Spidola" grid. P.S. I also added two holes in the bottom cover for PWR/ACT diodes to be visible. But you can use any variation from the original thing.
