Raspberry Pi 2 Snap Shut Case

thingiverse

Here is my custom Raspberry Pi case designed specifically for my trusty Raspberry Pi 2. I believe it will also fit seamlessly with the newer Raspberry Pi 3 model as well. This affordable 3D print comes together quickly due to its economical design, making it an excellent choice for hobbyists and enthusiasts alike. As you'll soon discover, this snap-shut case boasts a clever push-in foot system that provides a secure hold on your Raspberry Pi. The tolerances may be quite tight, but rest assured, the parts fit together perfectly with almost invisible seams. To assemble the case, simply squeeze the top and bottom corners together to snap it shut. Then, print out four feet and gently push them into place - you may need to apply a bit of force in this process. One crucial tip: don't attempt to snap the case shut without inserting your Raspberry Pi first, as it can be quite challenging to pry it open once it's snapped together. Enjoy your new custom Raspberry Pi case! As an added note, keep in mind that you'll likely need to rotate the parts during printing. Simply print the bottom part on the bottom and the top part on the top for a seamless build process.
