Raspberry Pi 2 Overclock Case
thingiverse
This is my first CAD design thingy upload so feedback would be greatly appreciated. I created this design because I wanted a case with the fan mounted inside. This case is primarily used as a multimedia machine but can also be used for anything that doesn't require access to the pins on the Pi. I'm currently redesigning it so no screws are needed to hold the Pi in place and it will consist of three parts instead of two for easier printing. I upload STL files in the orientation I use for printing, and I print without supports. Included STEP files allow you to make adjustments or change the design as you see fit, created using Solidworks 2015. Please provide suggestions for improving this design. I added a new version with some updates. The design has been shortened slightly and features a slot for easily changing SD cards. The fan cover has been redesigned to match lucymewl's model, adding more strength around the mounting holes. Additionally, two new files have been included which separate the Top piece into two parts. This allows you to print it flat, reducing printing time. You can then glue the fan cover on using super glue or a slurry mix. Instructions for assembly include: use four M2 x 4mm screws to secure the Pi inside the case; use four M4 x 10mm screws to attach the two pieces together; and mount the fan using some makes' normal screws or standard fan screws, as needed.
