Raspberry Pi 2 mount for 2 wheel robot chassis
thingiverse
I acquired an affordable two-wheeled robotic platform, pre-drilled with numerous holes but none were compatible with my Raspberry Pi 2 board. To solve this problem, I crafted a customized bracket that fits perfectly over the center of the chassis and is offset to allow access to the various ports and SD card. The design also allows for stacking additional boards. Fortunately, two chassis-side holes aligned with existing openings, but you'll need to drill two more holes - which I conveniently did before designing the mount, making it easy to take advantage of them. To attach the bracket, I used short PC screws; alternatively, cut-down flat-head self-tapping screws could also work. I employed four 3mm brass stand-offs, which necessitated slightly expanding the Pi's screw holes. Alternatively, using 2.5mm stand-offs with a little adhesive to hold them in place might avoid drilling the Pi altogether.
