Raspberry Pi 2 (from caliper measurements)
thingiverse
I decided to create a custom enclosure for my Raspberry Pi 2, an incredibly affordable and user-friendly Linux desktop computer that delivers excellent performance at just $35. To start the process, I chose to model the Pi itself rather than designing the case directly. This approach would allow me to tailor my case design perfectly around the board's unique features and dimensions. Within a timeframe of approximately 1 hour and a half, I successfully completed all modeling tasks using Google SketchUp. The precision measurements for this task were captured using a Neiko stainless steel digital caliper that provided exceptionally accurate readings, which is another great example of getting excellent value for money.
