Raspberry Pi 2 Case (with Camera)
thingiverse
Material is 3mm birch plywood. The original case design, made for the Raspberry Pi B model, can be found here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:142608/. To create a version for the Raspberry Pi 2 instead of the Model B, use the port measurements and paths from this excellent case: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:679809. After reconfiguring the design, I have fabricated it using laser cutting techniques. Initial testing reveals that it works seamlessly. A 3D printed version of the modified case is also available for download on Thingiverse here:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:819206. Special thanks go to galiettd - http://www.thingiverse.com/galiettd/about, as well as other individuals and groups who contributed their expertise: Rasterhttp://www.thingiverse.com/raster/about created the original Raspberry Pi Case (with Camera) design. Keith Ellis designed a modified version for the Raspberry Pi model B+ or Pi2 Model B - http://www.thingiverse.com/keithellis/about, while ipswitchmakerspace played a vital role in making this project possible via their resources: http://ipswichmakerspace.com/. Instructions for customizing and fabricating this design: To modify the SVG file, use Inkscape - https://inkscape.org. Generate G-Code for laser cutting with either the THLaser plugin http://wiki.thinkhaus.org/index.php?title=THLaser_Plugin or Sheetcam software: http://www.sheetcam.com.
