Raspberry Pi 2 case (vented with external screws)
thingiverse
Raspberry Pi 2 enclosure with enhanced ventilation and externalized mounting hardware. Facing difficulties finding screws that fit snugly within the Raspberry Pi 2's mounting holes, I have decided to relocate the screws outside of the case itself and will secure the RPi in place using foam mounting tape (3M command strips.) This modification also eliminates the need for screws to pass completely through the case body, instead they now thread into a bottom component. By taking this approach, I was able to avoid counter-sinking the screws on the bottom or adding rubber feet that could potentially scratch nearby surfaces.
