Raspberry Pi 2 Case for Raspberry Pints/Mounting Alamode Board on Top
thingiverse
Made specifically for Raspberry Pints setup (http://raspberrypints.com). Allows the Alamode board to mount onto a raspberry pi without shorting any pins on top of the USB ports. Also self-guides the Alamode GPIO pins onto the correct pins on the Raspberry Pi. I may modify this slightly and add more files that use screws to close the case instead of the current pin/hole method, as the pins can be quite fragile. I've included the STEP files for the solid model so that if anyone wants to edit the design, please feel free. Let me know if you do design a better case for the same application, and I'll print one out too! 01/27/2016 Edit: Replaced file "raspberry_pi_case_v5_bottom.stp" with "rpi_case_v5_bottom.stp" because the original was not a true solid model. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: .1 mm Infill: 10% Notes: For bottom case use 100% infill as the raspberry pi locating/mounting pins can be fragile. For top case, use 10% infill and make sure to add supports.
