Raspberry Pi 2 B+ mounting cage for Top Hat DIN Rail / Cap Rail / Hutschiene 35mm
thingiverse
This bare holder serves as a mounting point for your Raspberry Pi B+/2, ensuring that it sits level on any surface, even when equipped with a heatsink at the base. For easier integration into control cabinets, you can employ my Top Hat Rail / Cap Rail mount base plate, available through this link (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:684759). The holder is presented in two versions. One boasts a flat base suitable for straightforward table stands or adhesive bonding to the flat Cap Rail mount base plate. The second features clips designed to snap onto notched versions of my Cap Rail mount. Prior to attaching your Pi, make sure to thread the holes using an M2.6 thread cutter. For a smooth attachment, keep in mind that the clips lock quite firmly into the notches on the Cap Rail mount; they can be gently curved for better fitting before snap-attachment is initiated. While these are snapped tightly together and meant not to be dismantled once fitted, your efforts will require substantial force for this operation due to the flexible PLA material used during printing
