Raspberry Pi 2/3 Case

Raspberry Pi 2/3 Case

myminifactory

A straightforward case for the Raspberry Pi 2 or 3 has been designed with a few key updates. The base is now based on v3, which provides a more comfortable fit thanks to tweaked aperture tolerances. Furthermore, the central pillar separating the USB bays has been removed for easier access. This design was primarily created to accommodate my Octoprint Pi, allowing it to be mounted onto an enclosure for my printer. Four countersunk fastening holes have been included for secure mounting. Additionally, open access to the SD card is available, making swapping it out a simple process that doesn't require removing the lid or Pi. The case has been printed in ABS, and while it's a tight fit, the Raspberry Pi can be gently persuaded into place. I'm still committed to using 123D Design as my CAD package of choice, but may eventually need to convert to Fusion 360. For now, 123D continues to meet all my needs for this type of design.
