Raspberry Pi 2 - 3 B+ case with magnetic lock
thingiverse
This is a slightly modified design from "Safe and secure Raspberry Pi B+ Case" - thanks to jayftee for the original work. I wanted a completely tool-free design so that opening and closing the case would be incredibly easy. Two cylinders were added to the top and bottom of the case where you can place a neodymium magnetic disc (10 mm diameter, 2 mm height). These discs can be purchased at https://www.supermagnete.it/eng/disc-magnets-neodymium/disc-magnet-10mm-2mm_S-10-02-N. After placing the magnet, simply close the cylinder using the included top piece and some glue. You'll have a nice smooth "click-clack" when closing your Raspberry case. Note: The small imperfection visible on the top is not part of the actual model, it's just a scratch from my print bed. Don't forget to use printing supports for the top case (required for the cylinders). If you have any suggestions or need changes, please comment.
