Raspberry Pi (2, 3, 3B, 3B+) 50mm Fan Case
thingiverse
Storytime: I've been itching to buy a Raspberry Pi for ages. I own loads of hardware - like that massive Dual Xeon E5-2690 Workstation - but I wanted to try something like the Pi for projects like NAS servers and building other stuff. Just swap out the regular top print with this one and you can add a 50mm fan. Thing-Update 15.06.2018 My first print was great, but I had to shave off a few millimeters from the USB ports to get it just right. I also left some extra space on the GPIO pins for 5V. Next update will follow after my next print. Plus: More air vents were added. Also, I highly recommend printing this thing the correct way - that means you'll need more supports but you won't mess up the screw holes like I did. You'll also get a cleaner surface. The notch at the rear of the model is getting removed, and I'm updating the bottom parts to match! (As we speak, I'm working on the second version, which should be done by 16.06.18!) Thing-Update 16.06.18 I've added the bottom without screw holes and included a few pics of my first beta print (it was a bit stringy because of the Woozysheepnes). Thing-Update 18.06.18 Made some changes - like new screw holes - and fixed the bottom part notch. Thing-Update 02.02.2019 I was cleaning out old files, found the IPT files again. Enjoy!
