Raspberry Pi 19" 1U Rack Mount

Inspired by the incredible amount of existing options for Raspberry 3/4 rack mount solutions, I was looking for a slightly more professional looking and sturdier option. The provided solution uses a case from fs.com which is normally used for fiber patch panels (open frame: https://www.fs.com/products/70419.html, or closed frame: https://www.fs.com/products/96427.html). In addition it uses the locks of the blank lids (https://www.fs.com/products/35526.html). The printed elements are designed to perfectly fit the openings in the frame and provide a clever 4 slot Raspberry Pi 19" rack mount. The locks use a simple push/pull lock mechanism (snap-in rivet). If you want to save some money, you can just use screws, but you'll loose a lot of the convenience. I highly recommend investing the few dollars :-) I recommend printing with tree support (see attached images), since those are easy to remove and the slides are designed to require very limited support. The little standoff is going to hold the reset buttons (which haven't arrived yet), and the Raspberry Pis will be powered through a custom power supply (which will be located at the back end of the frame) and power the pis through the pin header (using a custom hat). At the moment they're powered through the standard USB ports which interfere heavily with the slide in/out purpose. I'll share the design for the power supply when ready.
