Raspberry Pi 1 Model B (REV0002) case
thingiverse
What kind of Raspberry Pi do I need?\nThis case is specifically designed for the early edition Raspberry Pi 1 model B. These older Pis have hard, pointy corners as opposed to the rounded edges found on later models, only 26 gpio pins, and no mounting holes on the pcb. The MiniUsb port orientation also differs from its successors. They are referred to as "Rev 0002" and were released in 2011-2012. A pcb image is provided for reference in the gallery.\n\n**Parts Needed:**\nThis case consists of two distinct components: a bottom part and a top part, which must be printed separately and hopefully fit together seamlessly without the need for screws or adhesives.\n\n**Key Features Include:**\nAll pinouts and ribbon connectors feature small openings on top to provide adequate ventilation. The SDCard mount comes equipped with a circular support designed to protect the sdcard from impact. There is also a mock rack for secondary/spare sd cards. Adequate airflow is ensured through numerous openings, and the compact design of this case makes it ideal for use with Raspberry Pis.
