Raspberry Cam Holder (inside) BCN3D Sigma
thingiverse
This is a custom Raspberry M12 camera housing adapted from thing 467182 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:467182) for use with the BCN3D Sigma 3D printer. The camera's direction has been optimized to provide an unobstructed view of the entire print bed at every level. I chose a M12 lens for this application because its field of view is perfectly suited for placement within the Sigma frame. Additionally, the M12 lens offers the option to adjust focus settings. This camera is connected to my Raspberry Pi, where I have installed Octoprint software to remotely control the Sigma printer. To attach the camera securely, it's recommended that you use double-sided tape. For assembly of the housing, you will need M3 countersunk screws; if using longer M3 screws, be sure to drill an additional 2.5mm deeper to accommodate them properly.
