Rasp Pi Zero Case [Compatible with Adafruit Case]
thingiverse
When ordering cases from Adafruit, they love sending different numbers of front vs back case parts. As any good maker, I hate tossing out perfectly good plastic parts, so there's little else to do - time to design compatible case parts! This was a bit complex for me as there is a Z-curve on both the X and Y axis, so I had to iterate with prints until I got something that would work. The end result fits the official Pi Foundation top case well enough, and has a satisfying 'click' as it locks into place. It could probably be improved in a better design program now that the basic measurements are known - I somewhat reached the limits of TinkerCad while building this. This is intended to be a starter project - you can now print a "base" to match your exact needs. In my example, I printed a base with a built-in socket that attaches to a ball joint. This was exactly what I needed for a home camera setup.
