The Rascal bar bracket is designed for electrically insulating and mechanically securing the compact Rascal computer, utilized in artistic and scientific applications. After printing two bars, drill and tap the cylindrical bosses using either #4-40 or M3 fasteners; however, predrilling is recommended due to potential discrepancies in part dimensions. For M3 fasteners, a 0.100" drill (#39) or alternatively a 2.5 mm drill can be used, with a M3 x 6 stainless steel socket head cap screw, such as McMaster part number 91292A111, providing optimal mounting for the Rascal. Conversely, for #4-40 fasteners, a 0.089" drill (#43) or a 3/32" drill can be employed, and a #4-40 x 1/4" stainless steel socket head cap screw, like McMaster part number 92196A106, ensures proper mounting.
