Raptor Reloaded by e-NABLE - Carmel thumb

thingiverse

Hi everyone,\nI'm excited to share a brand new design I've created for the thumb in the Raptor Reloaded hand by e-NABLE, and it's specifically designed to grip both tiny objects and larger ones with ease. This innovative design was conceived as part of a project undertaken in the Bio-medical Engineering Department at the Technion-IIT and collaboratively developed with Haifa 3D organization.\nThe new thumb is fully compatible with the original hand design and simply requires printing two smaller parts I've designed, along with a standard thumb pin. To facilitate easy access to the design files, I've uploaded CAD files, sketches, and SolidWorks files for everyone's benefit.\nI'd be truly grateful if you could provide your feedback on this design - it would be incredibly helpful! You can find more information about this innovative design by watching these two videos: a video explaining how it works (https://youtu.be/I0HwPox_eN4), a video showing the thumb in action (https://youtu.be/DRHTY_f8afs), and a video demonstrating its assembly (https://youtu.be/eWczE35RCZk).\nPrint Settings:\nPrinter Brand: CEL\nPrinter: Robox\nRafts: No\nSupports: Yes\nNotes: The proximal part may present some challenges for certain printers, so I hope it works out smoothly.\nPost-Printing
