Raptor Footprint
sketchfab
This giant footprint stretches half a meter across, measuring about 20 inches in length. It's found on Navajo land in Arizona, not far from the San Juan River. A quick glance around reveals no matching print nearby, hinting that this was indeed made by an animal on the run. Looking at it from the opposite side provides valuable insight into how the front tip of the claw behaved when the foot first landed and then pushed off. This site is where the remarkable discovery of Deinonychus was made – a massive, speedy predator known for its incredible ability to run on two legs.
