Raptor Claw Ring
thingiverse
I scaled down the original design by 10% and added a 15mm diameter ring to my son's Halloween costume for a more impressive look. If I wanted to create one that fits my 20mm finger, I would simply scale up by 33% in all dimensions before printing. Easy enough. Printing at a resolution of 0.1mm only took 45 minutes per claw, so I might be able to get away with lower quality settings if needed. My current print settings are: 0.3mm nozzle, 0.1mm layer height, 7% infill density, no solid infill threshold, and two perimeter passes around the part. Additionally, I've increased part cooling, especially at the tip of each claw. However, after printing, the tips were too sharp for my four-year-old son to handle safely, so I had to blunt them post-print.
