I really liked NAS solution from Jeff Geerling, but wanted to push it little bit more: add 5th disk. That's why I designed this bracket which replaces original bracket from Penta SATA HAT.This bracket will allow you to mount 5th disk which can be connected through eSATA (as all standard SATA connectors are full already).Print instructionsRecommend printing with PETG or other material with higher melting point as rapsberry and drive can get very hot, especially if running without proper heatsink …I printed it with orientation in which most of the model is laying on a bed to avoid bridging of long areas.Extra tips for Rpi5 NASGeekPi Active Cooler for Rpi5, amour lite v5.It's super quiet and fits great. No need to cut heatsink: in the video Jeff is cutting the heatsink to be able to fit it under that HAT. Alternative and less destructive solution is to add spacers and prolong the pin with extra PIN header. I used these:PIN header 2.54mmSpacers (you need to combine multiple sizes to reach right size for your heatsink)Power:You can power it up with USB-C to barel connector (I am using this one in combination with the Molex adapter below, don't remember if it fits also directly into RPI5 in this dimension, ping me if you are interested in it, I can try and update this) adapter and USB-C charger (must support 12V, not every USB-C charger can do that …, must be strong enough, I tested with this 35W charger for 5 SSDs).You might want adapter to Molex to avoid having power cable from the side (for Rack for example).
