This mount is specifically designed for BFB 1kg filament spools, but may also accommodate heavier ones with additional bracing. The wheels fit onto the spool's hub if its inner diameter ranges from 72mm to 76mm, while the wheel lip must be 82mm in diameter to prevent it from slipping into the hub. The framework uses wooden dowels of 10mm diameter, which might not support 2 x 2.3kg spools but work fine for 1kg ones. You'll need to slightly widen the holes for a snug fit and ensure all dowels are 30mm deep in their connectors. For one spool, cut two 284mm and three 125mm dowels, plus print four connector parts, two spool axle holders, and two spool wheels. Assemble the dowels to the upper and lower cross bars with clamps, leaving a 125mm gap between them. Attach a 125mm dowel to each 3-way connector pointing forward and place a spool wheel on either side of your filament spool before inserting a 157mm dowel through the wheels' centers and into the spool axle holders. For two spools, use three 284mm dowels, five 125mm dowels, one 4-way connector, plus six clamps, three spool axle holders, and four spool wheels. Assemble as before but attach the dowels to a 4-way connector as well. Adjust accordingly and enjoy your dual filament spool holder.
