Raphtalia Chibi (Scaled, Fixed & Split)
thingiverse
This remix has been scaled to 500% (~5in. / ~12.5cm tall) to better match other figures I had. Attempting to print the original STL after scaling it up revealed some issues in the model, so those have been fixed in this version. Specifically, in the original model the chest armor collapses into the body after scaling, and there are usually holes above and below the belt buckle. I've never edited an STL before so this is probably a hackjob, but after a lot of trial and error I got something that prints correctly and thought I'd upload it for others. In addition to the above, this model has been split at the neck to allow for easier painting of the rear side of the body and inside the hair. The base has also been chopped off from the feet to allow more reliable printing of the body (skirt) with supports. Otherwise you have to print supports between the base and skirt and it's harder to remove them. After printing and painting the individual parts (head, body and optional base), they can be super glued together. Two bases are provided if you decide you want one. The ~2in base is roughly the same scale as the original STL, about the same diameter as her skirt. The ~3in base (pictured) is a little larger and I thought it looked a bit nicer.
