Just built my small Volumio client on Raspberry Pi Zero and a a PiFi Digi+ v1.0. There are better combinations out there but my goal was just to use the optical connection to avoid all the decoupling issues on the copper media and, after all, it is more than enough form me to listen my fav web radios. Moreover I can power supply the Pi Zero with just a USB Out from a nearby USB device so, less power supply around. This is the enclosure, to be glued top and bottom with cyanoacrilate for simplicty.
