Ranger Pace Beads
thingiverse
This print is a Ranger Pace Bead used to make a set of Ranger Pace Beads. When I wanted to create my own set of Ranger Pace Beads I was frustrated by trying to purchase the correct bead. What was the correct OD and ID? After several attempts of getting the wrong bead I decided to create my own. This bead is the perfect size to fit on two strands of paracord. It is snug enough to stay in place and not too snug to prevent it from being slid down the strands when needed. It also did not require the paracord to have the inner strands removed like I saw in examples on the internet. The triangular shape of the bead gives you a more distinct edge over a rounded bead which makes it easier to grab. It's shape also makes it easy to print. When threading the beads over a loop of paracord use a smaller piece of string or dental floss to pull the loop through the hole of the bead. Instructions on how to use Ranger Pace Beads can easily be found on the internet.
