This backplate is specifically designed for the Volantex Ranger 2000 quadcopter, engineered to seamlessly integrate a full-sized Pixhawk flight controller. Constructed with 3mm plywood in mind (measured at 3.1mm for added precision), it features a deliberate 0.05mm gap to allow for a slight play between layers. The Fusion 360 file is parameter-driven, enabling users to easily adjust the material thickness and automatically recalibrate the tabs accordingly. Additionally, DXF and SVG files are provided in a format optimized for laser cutting. Two small cut-outs on the bottom plate provide a convenient place for rubber bands, eliminating the need for velcro straps.
