Reinforcement pieces I created for the Window Pack on my P38 Range Rover. They are often missing or cracked. The pieces are installed as either a snug friction-fit, or using poly cement / super glue. There are 10 screw-post fixing points located on the underside of the Window Switch Pack facia panel. Those 10 screw-posts are comprised of 4 different designs, each to receive a screw when connecting the facia plate to the circuit/switch side of the Window Switch Pack. These 4 designs I came up with work for the issues I encountered. They print quickly at 100% infill which gives the screws maximum material to 'bite' into. NOTE: You may need to modify the design for your specific situation. SUMMARY OF MY 4 DESIGNS - Post Reinforcement a (friction fit only) - presses over a screw-post where a crack is forming. The ring will prevent the crack from developing. Post Reinforcement b (super glue req'd) - slides over a the 2 screw-posts that are joined to locating pins. The ring has a split to slide over the 'webbing'. Must be glued. Screw Post (super glue req'd) - Replaces the damaged post alongside the electric wing mirror adjustment switch. A Dremmel tool with a sanding drum will remove fragments of the original screw post and scratch the surface for gluing. Replacement Tab (super glue req'd) - Replaced the 2 supports used to secure the Window Switch Panel to the Centre Consul. Both of my supports were snapped in half, so I trimmed them until these Replacement Tabs slipped over them. TOP TIP! hand-tighten screws so they are the tight side of loose only! Do not enter the cranking stage of screw-tightening!
