Range control knob spacer (for LG range)

These spacers and temporary storage units are designed to safeguard the front-end control knobs for an LG LDE4415ST range from accidental activation. To turn on the cooktop elements, users must press inward on the control knobs and then rotate them. The knobs themselves are extremely sensitive, making it simple to inadvertently activate the cooktop by bumping into them or reaching over the top. This design was created in response to a personal experience where I accidentally turned on the elements just before designing this solution. The spacers fit snugly between the knob and the front panel, preventing accidental activation of the knobs. They are designed for easy insertion and removal, providing a comfortable fit. To install or remove the spacers, simply insert them through the top-end as shown in the accompanying images. If you place the spacer while the knob is turned off, it may still be possible to push and turn the knob with the spacer in between, although this has not been thoroughly investigated. The box is intended for temporary storage of the spacers when cooking, keeping them out of the way. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: This print was made using a Monoprice Maker Architect.
