A buddy of mine constructs these for transporting shooting equipment to and from the firing range, as well as providing a resting spot for rifles or shotguns during shooting sessions or cleaning. The "U"-shaped grooves at the ends are fitted with felt lining. However, the depicted image erroneously displays 18-inch tall ends; in reality, they measure only 14.25 inches.
