This experiment aims to 3D print a structure with the appearance of open-cell foam for the very first time. It was created in Meshmixer using "Random Primitives" within the "Pattern Tool". Element size is set at 6mm, while element spacing comes in at 2mm. Check out this video for more details: https://youtu.be/hnuFnqYYjBs. Update as of October 8th, 2018: An OpenSCAD script has been added that can be utilized through Customizer, giving users full control over the foam's parameters. Print Settings Notes: Don't forget to print this structure in a flexible material such as NinjaFlex or FilaFlex.
