Randolph Mammoth Tusk
myminifactory
The massive mammoth tusk now takes center stage at the New York State Museum's Ice Ages exhibit (http://www.nysm.nysed.gov/exhibitions/ongoing/ice-ages). Due to its prominent display, only a 3D scan from above and the sides was possible using a Go! Scan 50. The bottom portion of the tusk on display merely serves as a prop for the top half, as the lower half remains unseen in storage. Museum specimen number VP95 is proudly displayed courtesy of the New York State Museum. _________\r\nThis remarkable object has been scanned by Virtual Curation Lab
