Randolph Mammoth Skull

myminifactory

The massive mammoth skull is now a prominent feature in the Ice Ages exhibit at the New York State Museum. Due to its current placement, a 3D scan was only feasible from the top and sides using a Go!Scan 50. Plans are underway for a follow-up visit to complete the scanning of the fossil's remaining parts. The museum specimen number is VP95, courtesy of the New York State Museum. This remarkable object has been skillfully scanned by the Virtual Curation Lab.
