Rancilio Silvia Scale Tray

Rancilio Silvia Scale Tray

This tray was designed to lower a digital scale enough to accommodate a coffee mug under a naked portafilter so you can weigh shots directly into americanos etc. **You'll need a few things to build it** (amazon links included) You'll also need either an angle grinder or a dremel with a metal cutting wheel. **Shopping list** 1- The dropped shelf I used (cut to fit): https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07V8LGDFJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1 2- Flat head M3 screws for assembly (8mm,10mm and 12mm): https://www.amazon.ca/Grade-Stainless-Self-tapping-Screws-Thread/dp/B07C7QDF3J/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=m3+stainless+steel+screw&qid=1635979005&s=hi&sr=1-5 If you are printing on a compact print bed like the Prusa MINI, you will need to print the 2 piece frame. There is also a one piece frame for standard sized printers. Neither of them flex much but I have included threaded legs for added support. If I can think of a replacement for the droped shelf that doesn't require cutting, I'll update the design and include a new STL.
