Additional support cables are needed for the probe and spindle control, so a panel is being added to the RAMPS case. The DIN connectors serve the steppers, while RCA plugs handle Spindle control and Z-Probe tasks. The VGA/DB9 connector ties in limit switches. Meanwhile, I made the switch from Teacup firmware to Grbl for my milling machine - it's capable of Arc (G3) movements and probe operations (G38.x). I run my host software on an Ubuntu laptop with GrblHoming and bCNC. The latter tool supports autoleveling, a very handy feature when working with PCBs. The post-printing phase requires 3mm holes to be drilled through, but this process is simplified by adding a thin shell - no need for support material here.
