I discovered that the hole spacing didn't work out as planned (obviously, my original design was based on a 60mm fan). The center points of the holes are set at 50mm. This project is specifically designed for top-mounted installations. However, your fan may fit snugly underneath, depending on its size and configuration. Be certain to verify that you have sufficient clearance for the tangled web of wires. Edit: Version 2 offers more space under the clip for a nut and washer.
