RAMPS 1.4a Enclosure
thingiverse
This is a custom-made enclosure designed specifically for an Arduino Mega 2560 RAMPS 1.4a stack with an LCD display. Unhappy with the available enclosures on the market, I decided to create my own solution. A 40mm fan should be installed on the lid of the enclosure, and it can be mounted in any desired orientation. If you want to print a solid end panel without cutouts, use the "Enclosure - Panel - Solid" file. This file is ideal if you don't have an LCD board or prefer to route the LCD ribbon cables in the same direction as the stepper driver cables. The enclosure features a key-hole style mounting interface on the bottom, with screw spacing of 75mm. There are also a couple of holes in the rib near the cable exit for securing zip ties. For assembling the enclosure, I recommend using M3x16mm screws for each end plate and the fan shroud/fan assembly, and M3x20mm screws to secure the RAMPS stack to the bottom. Note: A "vented" version of the main body piece has been added, which should improve airflow. However, this version has not yet been printed, and I make no guarantees about its performance.
With this file you will be able to print RAMPS 1.4a Enclosure with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on RAMPS 1.4a Enclosure.
