Ramps 1.4 Cover

I designed this custom case to keep my Ramps 1.4 board cool and free from CNC debris. Easy wire management also provides better cooling for the drivers, while leaving room for the LCD header and wires. To assemble it, first snap the Ramps set into place by placing the board in the wire management side first and flexing the base open a bit. Then, snap the other side in, slide the board down, and secure it. Next, connect all the necessary wires and use the last hole to tie them up securely with a cable tie. For the main cover, snap it into place about 2 inches high and then slide it down to seal everything. The 40mm fan needs to be slid into place first, its wires pulled through, before seating it all the way. After that, fit in the fan cover. Since this case uses no screws other than for hanging it, printing settings can affect how hollow or not a hollow walled case looks, like a spiral vase. Keep an eye on your G-Code and adjust your settings to avoid this.
