RamjetX Thrustmaster T3PA Load Cell Vibration Motor Mount *updated*

Hi Internet shake'n'bakers!

Updated. Added covers for each side of the mount. Cover A is the vibration weight side, Cover B is the same with a slot for the cable to come out, Cover C is the same as B but without the inserting tabs that can be glued on if your cable is too big

Following up on my load cell mod for the Thrustmaster T3PA pedal kit last week (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3366188). I was so impressed by the performance of the mod that I was inspired to update the old vibration motor mount thing I did a few years ago to go with it.

Since the 20Kg load cell has a couple of 4mm bolt mounts at the top. A suitable mount for a standard 25mm gamepad vibration motor would fit nicely there.

Sticking with my PLA+ Blood Red theme, I made the mounting kit above and it fits fantastic!

I'll be wiring up this kit during the course of the day and fitting it to the pedals. I'll post an update when it's finished with final pictures.

Naturally I recommend SimHub for the vibration functionality. I'm using a simple 5V rail from the arduino, a NPN transistor and a 10K resistor on the base emitter junction for the arduino to drive the transistor on/off in series with the Motor. Don't forget your recirculating diode across the motor too.

Anywho... gotta take kids to swimming now. I hope you like and enjoy this mounting kit to go with the 20Kg load cell kit.

Cheers,
RamjetX
Category: Video Games
