Hi Internet Enthusiasts, Today, I'm sharing a small mod request I created for Viper_Polo on Discord. He needed a Thrustmaster 3 x 50mm PCD screw option. He provided a decent sketch of what he wanted and about 30 minutes later, I had this model ready to go. So, let's take a look at what's inside the pack: Thrustmaster Quick Release to 3 screw x 50mm PCD adaptor Thrustmaster Quick Release to 6 screw x 50mm PCD adaptor Now, you might be wondering what makes this version interesting. Well, I'm glad you asked! This is the first time I've tried embedded nuts, and I'm excited to share it with you. Right, let's get down to business. Here are the key facts about this model: Facts: The 3 holes are M5 and 15mm deep, so be sure to consider your button plate and/or wheel rim thickness when selecting your screw size. There are 3 x M5 Nuts that need to be inserted mid-print and start at 6mm to 10.4mm height from the bed. Use Cura Pause at Height option or a similar feature in your slicer to pause and insert the nuts. The nut cavity stops at 10.4mm from the bed, so if you're slicing at 0.2mm layer heights, the top of the cavity would be around layer 52. However, check this on your slicer with your settings. Disclaimer: I haven't printed this yet, but Viper_Polo will soon. There's no change to the Thrustmaster screw mount, so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. If you have problems printing this, please check your calibration on e-steps first. This has been the cause of final fit issues for everyone who has tried it. Like all my other models, this one is designed to be accurate and tight. You don't want sloppy steering, do you? If you experience over-extrusion causing the walls to be slightly thicker than normal, just grab a small heat gun or flameless lighter and heat up the parts to soften them a little. Then, insert them onto the Thrustmaster base. On that note, enjoy! Post up some makes and let me know how it goes. RamjetX
