Anyway, we didn't have to worry about anything later because I came up with a clever solution - creating a small stand to keep the laptop off the kitchen counter where she insists on using it. Let's just say I'm not the one who wanted to use it there. By the way, this little stand is great for keeping things cool when you're gaming with your laptop. I've got an ASUS ROG GL502VS, and it really helps keep everything running smoothly.
