myminifactory
One of the largest Egyptian sculptures in the British Museum showcases Ramesses II, who took over from his father Sethos I around 1279 BC and ruled Egypt for 67 years with great authority. Weighing a massive 7.25 tons, this impressive fragment of his statue was carved from a single block of two-coloured granite. He is depicted wearing the nemes head-dress topped by a cobra diadem. This incredible object is part of the "Scan The World" project, a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from around the globe for everyone's access.
